Annual Faerie Infestation Worst in Local Memory
Austin, Tx.
Local reports of all time high faerie infestations continue to roll in, due to a warm, wet spring and a lower number of natural predators due to unregulated hunting.
Faeries, once raised commercialy in central Texas for their droppings--widely used as packing material for shipping delicate cargo-- have now become a problem as feral populations rise each year. Locals are discouraged from feeding wild Fey, with fines in place for leaving milk on the door step.
"I can hardly sleep, for all the giggling and sighing", complains local crank T. Hoel, "and I'm really allergic to faerie dander. It's bad enough I keep finding them dead in the light covers, but now my house plants are trampled flat from all the dancing-- it's like a sparkly mosh pit, for fuck's sake".
