A primate's favorite fruit tree

This is the loquat tree in my neighborhood. It is in the front of an empty house--you really should have a look at it. Plenty of playground equipment--I think it was a daycare for a while. Lots of room, and this tree.

The fruit of the loquat tree is plum-like, tart and sweet, juicy with a thick skin and multiple pits.
It is the favorite wild food of a certain local primate.
